Sabo om sara means we're closing on saturday.
It's a reportage on the gradual closing of our only local shop in Brione Verzasca, Ticino.
In this series there is what was and will never be again, without and sadness or sentimentalism.
People who live these realities don't do much with sentimentalism, it's not functional nor useful.
My mother talking about this said: "We were happy with what we had and we are happy with what we will have".
In a couple of weeks the Swiss supermarkets chain Coop opens their new shop.

er Morféta
Er Morféta is a witch-like creature that inhabits the waters of the Verzasca river. If you get too close, you might get pulled under. She dresses in lost clothing items, using stumps of soap as jewelry. The legend was used to keep children safe, away from the turbulent waters.
